Spicy Jalapeno Yogurt Marinade

Slightly smokey, slightly tangy and very delicious! Use this marinade for chicken, pork or beef. The yogurt tenderizes the meat making it fork tender.

Prep time: 15 minutes

Marinate time: 24 to 48 hours

 1 cup Chobani Plain Greek Yogurt*

1/3 cup minced red onion

3 tablespoons lime juice

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

2 teaspoons garlic salt

1 teaspoon cumin

3 canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped

1/2 cup firmly packed fresh cilantro leaves and stems

 

Stir together all ingredients in a large bowl or resealable

bag. Add desired meat or poultry and refrigerate for 24 to 48 hours. Discard after using.

 

*In place of yogurt, you may  substitute Chobani 1/2 & 1/2, Oat Milk or Extra Creamy Oat Milk. Place a tablespoon of lemon juice in a measuring cup and add desired product to measure 1 cup. Cover
