Shortcut Ravioli “Lasagna”

Cook time: 30 minutes


1 1/2 cups prepared marinara sauce, plus additional for serving

1 pound frozen cheese, spinach or mushroom ravioli*

4 oz. mozzarella cheese, sliced

1/2 cup drained cooked fresh or frozen spinach 

1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, plus additional for serving

Pesto, snipped fresh basil, 

Preheat oven to 350°F and spread a layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Place 1/3 of the ravioli in the bottom of the dish and top evenly with 1/2 of the mozzarella and spinach. Top with the remaining ravioli and marinara sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake for 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly. 

*You may need a few more ravioli if your pan is shallow.
