Barbecue Hoisin Sliders

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes

 

1 lb. ground beef, turkey or chicken

3/4 cup prepared barbecue sauce, or to taste

6 tablespoons hoisin sauce

Splash of rice vinegar or lime juice (optional)

8 small Hawaiian rolls or 4 larger brioche rolls

Lettuce leaves

Fresh cilantro leaves and pickled ginger (optional)

Quick Honey Ponzu Slaw (recipe below)

 

Cook ground turkey, chicken or beef in a medium skillet until cooked through. Stir in barbecue sauce and hoisin sauce and cook for 5 minutes more. Add a splash of rice vinegar or lime juice for a tangier flavor. Spoon onto rolls with lettuce, slaw and cilantro and ginger, if desired.

 

Honey Ponzu Slaw:

Mix equal amounts of Kikkoman Ponzu, honey and olive oil. Drizzle over cabbage or a cabbage and carrot mix and toss well to coat.
