Chili Seasoned Sweet Potato Fries

Serve with the spicy chipotle yogurt dip or simply mix dry ranch dressing into plain Greek yogurt for a tamer dip.

Cook time: 30 minutes

 

1 pound First Street Sweet Potato Fries (about 1/4 of bag)

2 teaspoons First Street or Sun Harvest Organic Chili Powder

1 teaspoon First Street or Sun Harvest Organic Onion Powder

1 teaspoon First Street or Sun Harvest Organic Ground Cumin

1/2 teaspoon First Street Garlic Salt

Chipotle Yogurt Dip:

1/2 cup plain First Street Plain Greek Yogurt

2 teaspoons minced First Street Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce plus additional adobo sauce from can

1/4 teaspoon First Street Garlic Salt

 

Preheat oven to 450°F. Place sweet potato fries in a large bowl. Stir together seasonings in a small bowl and sprinkle over potatoes; toss well to coat as evenly as possible. Place in a single layer on baking sheets and bake for 30 minutes or until nicely browned, stirring every 10 minutes. While potatoes are cooking, stir together yogurt, chipotle peppers and garlic salt in a small bowl. Serve with warm fries. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
