Short Cut Game Day Chili

No need to chop onions or peppers for this simple chili! Start with Fresh Cravings Salsa and seasoned chili beans - all the hard work is already done!

 

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 1 hour

 

1 pound ground beef, turkey or chicken

2 (16-oz.) containers Fresh Cravings Salsa (in the refrigerated produce section)

2 (15.5-oz.) cans seasoned chili beans*

Taco seasoning mix, Mexican seasoning blend or a mixture of chili powder,

     cumin and oregano to taste

Beer to taste (optional)

Chobani Plain Greek Yogurt and sliced green onions for topping

Tortilla chips

 *Make sure to use seasoned chili beans and don’t drain.

Brown meat in a large saucepan until cooked through. Stir in salsa and beans and bring to a simmer; cook over medium-low heat uncovered for 30 minutes. Add desired seasonings to taste and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes more to thicken. Spoon into bowls and top with yogurt and green onions. Serve with tortilla chips, if you like.
